Our consultants were commissioned by a prominent UK government agency to assist in the implementation of a new advanced technology solution (Customs Declaration System), which would allow national and international traders to efficiently export goods to and from the UK, in time for the Brexit deadline. 

We successfully implemented the rollout of this technology solution through the implementation of skill development initiatives and ensuring all readiness activities were planned and managed accordingly. This included conducting comprehensive needs assessments, involving consultations with various stakeholders, such as government officials, employees, and traders, to identify pain points and gather valuable insights. Another key contributions was the management of teams to complete mapping exercises to then carry out technology assessments and recommendations of legacy systems so that the new system aligned with the agency's goals, considering factors such as security, scalability, and ease of integration. 

Our consultants successfully demonstrated the potential of modernization in the public sector. By leveraging advanced technologies, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, our client was able to enhance service delivery, optimize resource allocation, and improve Trader satisfaction. The project serves as a model for future modernization initiatives within the public sector, highlighting the importance of strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and effective change management.
